"MoonDreams"
Sun rays ravage dreams,
Nobody left in this world to hear my screams.
the morning light takes me under,
all of my visions had filled me with wonder,
but now they've gone away.
Your whispering breath fell on my face,
as I sailed on clouds to a far off place,
I traveled with you in my arms,
and we visited the moon and stars.
But then light dawned and you went away.
Your lips felt as real as rain,
I flew by your side, free of earthly pain.
You turned your back with sharp finality,
for a second it felt like pure reality.
Why can't the dreams just stay?
I curse the morning dew,
with it comes the death of you.
I curse the way things are,
Though my heart is never very far.
Now it's time to fade away,
But my dreams are where my thoughts will stay.

"Dance of despair"
No killing can justify these things we hold inside.
Salt is poured into empty wounds,
as mothers turn away, and teardrops fill their eyes.
The dance of despair and vengence invigorates,
but hearts still burn with bleeding intensity.
Secluded souls walk with melancholy sorrow,
as sadness seeps like sweat from every pore.
After the pipers have played thier tunes,
and we've been sickened to calmness,
our blood remembers.
Serenity flickers as silent rage changes inside,
back and forth like ocean tides.
Bottled feelings like hurricanes funneled into waterskins,
Endless spinning, in a black abyss of the path ahead.
Will we stand or dance when it's time to face the end?
We wait grabbing for peace and stillness,
yet pushing for the cause.
Reaching for a piece of mind.
Is there still hope for our kind?

"Call to Arms"
Today I look and wait,
Tomorrow I decide my fate.
To take up arms and be a man,
or choose instead a woman's hand.
I revere the thought of past glory,
and wish to make my mark in history.
But if I leave and die in vain,
for a reason I disdain,
who in life would miss me?
I don't fear death, nor it's songs tone,
I only fear the death that's cold and all alone.
So sitting here in darkness,
I'm working out my fate.
I'll shall never know the right choice,
until it's far too late.

These, my friends, are the simple words from a warrior poet. Tell me what you think, there will be much more to come if the feedback is good. *blushes from the thought of people reading his innermost thoughts* =)

Forgot this one.
"Pitch Black Soul"
Remove yourself from my thoughts, and walk away.
What is the reason for my obsession?
Do you hear a single word I say?
Leave my thoughts and let me go astray,
my mind is to involved to play your silly games.
I hate what I've become,
dependent on nothingness.
Too much wishful thinking.
I wish I could run into the darkness,
but no matter where I go, you are at my heels.
Does anybody know how bad this feels!!!
I wish there would come a day,
where I could run from pain,
or at least silence the sound of the rain.
It kisses my face as I think of what we could have been.
No matter where I end up, It seems I am out of place.
The disguise I wear works much too well,
I will see the day your cruelness rots in hell.

Many thanks Lady Alarwyn. Here is another that was part of the string where I swore fealty to Lord Mat. It probably belongs with these though.
"Fields of Grey"
My honor is loyalty, courage, and most of all Toh. accept this poem as a gift.
"Heartstrings play for brothers lost,
here on fields of grey.
Heroes slain as blackened rain
falls on fields of grey.
Judgement comes with prices paid,
on bloody fields of grey.
If men must die and darkness rise
to cover fields of grey,
then courage fails and honor is lost
on curs'ed fields of grey.
Brave men fall as demon trumpet's call,
why must evil win the day?
Fate is made as sorrow reigns,
across these fields of grey.
At what cost? Innocence and lovers lost,
Burn these fields of grey!
The fate of man was in his hands,
but he let it slip away."

Mya Mu! I applaud you immensely! *impressed*
"Pitch Black Soul" and "Moonbeams" are my favorites. Dark, touching, flowing, and precise with the imagery.
Maybe we'll see more...? *g*
