I just want to know if anyone has one, if so, what of? and where on your body?
I just got an old one completely redone last night icon_smile.gif
it's of a comical dragon with smoke coming out of her nostrils and 'Mara' written underneath her icon_smile.gif
She's on my left shoulder.

I also have a gaelic tribal maltese cross on my upper left arm, and a celtic chiefton's cross on my upper right. my brother designed it with lots of knotwork and in black and skin. come to think of it they're all black and skin. I should get some pictish cobalt tatoos next... oh yeah, I am celtic lol, not just another Irish poseur!!! good to see my good friends are still here!

it is always advised to wait until you are of legal age icon_smile.gif
What i did was decide I really did want one when i turned 17 (a year under the legal age in Australia),
and then waited a year to make sure I realllllly wanted one icon_smile.gif because that was before the laws changed, i could have gotten one at 17 with a parent present.
So i sugest that even when you do turn the legal age, still wait that year to make sure you'll want permanant ink in your skin icon_wink.gif

I have none as of yet but I have begun designing some that I would like to get in the near future.
One which i know for sure is a dark looking dragon on my shoulder, its head sorta tilting to the side, coming up over my shoulder and towards my front, its tail twisting around my upper arm, one wing spread over the top of the one side of my chest, the other wing spread over the back of my shoulder blade.
It has meaning, but Im still working on translating what I feel it means to me into words.
For the others I am not sure yet. Ive thought of the Aiel Cheif dragon on the forearm and hand, as a few people here have mentioned, but if I got that, I would design it to look like a totally different dragon, just keeping the positioning the same. I want any tattoo I get to be designed by myself. Even if its based on something from a book or whatever, it will be original too.
I also want to work "ji'e'toh" in there somehow, perhaps at the base of my neck or something...I'll have to play around with some fonts and different ideas and see what looks good

that sounds great icon_smile.gif
I like tatts that have meaning
when i originally had mine done, it had no meaning, but it took on meaning when my daughter was born in the year of the dragon, hence it being a dragon with her name under it icon_wink.gif

I have Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch" on my right bicep so that it can be seen when I stand relaxed. He's smiling big and wearing big sunglasses.
Yeah, it hurt. There where parts that where really bad, but after a few minutes the whole area went numb. Once that happens, there are only parts that hurt (like thick black lines). After it's all done, it will feel like a mild sunburn. Annoying enough to notice, but only painful enough to be annoying.
I have what most of you probably do not. PICTURES!

My friend, myself and my (not at the time) wife all went out on a friday night (payday) and got tatted up.
Here's the picture that I have on my arm. It is the exact same size, but there is no background.

I don't have any tatoos. Personally, I don't think they look quite the same on women as they do on men. No offense to anyone.
I like the tribal ones around the bicep the best.
