I must say that i am most pleased for General Mat, he really has worked hard and truly deserved this promotion! I think the Aiel Org will definately grow and improve under his watchful eye.
However, i must say i am a bit biased on this account as i have known him since he was about 9, and i can tell you he wasnt the same self assured leader back then.
In fact i remember the time when he first slept over my house, we didnt know he was a sleepwalker. when i woke up he was missing from my room, i woke my parents up to look for him. Eventually we found him in the garage, sleeping with our German Shepard, the worst bit was that the dog was lying on its back content, with General Mat asleep on its belly with one hand wrapped around my dogs balls!
I bet ya he doesnt tell anyone that story huh?

He deserves it. Mat is one hell of a guy. Even though he puts up a tough front and is jealous to all other Warders of Min's, he is a great guy.
