Yes. It's me!!!
I found a computer with an internet access, but it took some time. (And at the moment, that is what I don't have..)
My first week here (as an exchange student in France) has been one of the most horrible in my my life. All kind of problems... *sigh* But it's getting very much better now, so don't worry!!! (as you ever would. icon_biggrin.gif )
I'm sure now that it will be very hard for me to here often, since my host family doesn't have a computer, but.. As I told you I'll do my best!
Hope to be back here soon, have fun and so on...
*hugs a lot everybody*

*hugs a lot* Thank you all for your concern, my loves... lol
The first really annoying problem was that my host family couldn't take me in, because the father of the family had left the day before and left his pregnant wife alone. so... I disagreeosiation (sts) found me a new one quite quickly actually, I spent two days with the mother of my contact person. She is very nice and lives in the same village as I'm living now. And it is a little village. It's strange to me, because I have always lived in a city, and now it takes over an hour to drive to the school. My family is lovely though, and they are enthusiasticly trying to make me eat all kind of stuff. (Some of it is actually good!) I have my own lovely room and my host sister helps me with everything.
So everything is just fine at home, but school is a little hard. Especially French since we do have it 7-8 hours a week and this year is mostly poetry. Even the French don't understand it! But then, I have English 8 hours a week too, since it is my both longer and storter language option. icon_biggrin.gif
My days are very long from 8 to 18 and the teachers give us too much homework. After a such a long day who has the strenght to do some homework? No one. And besides, I'm always having a headache at the end of the day just from trying to understand what everybody says...
But it's just the beginning, and I think this will be a wonderful year indeed... icon_biggrin.gif
Love you all, *hugs some more*

(I reread this message and found it more than confusing, but if you can make something of it, that's fine *g*)

a change is as good as a rest the cliche goes and i guess is easy for me to say.
Festival season is over and I am back home in Bath taking my kids backward and forward to school everyday, and staying up all weekend working at events. I relate to the back to school new term blues, but trying to tune into the autumn spirit and watch the seasions turn, enjoying the smell of mould in the leaves and all the amazing fungi. Enjoying changing circumstances all part of lifes rich tapestry,
